Making
Tofu is not as difficult as most people thought. There are a
few basic steps you have to remember.
| 1. |
1. After the soymilk is made by SoyMilker, cool the soymilk to about 80?C (176?F). |
| 2. |
2. Use six (6) grams (one tbsp.) of coagulant (Calcium Sulfate), which is pre-mixed with 100ml of hot water, gently add into the soymilk. Gently stir for about one minute. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes until the milk separate into curd and whey. |
| 3. |
3. Place cheesecloth in a forming container, and then take the curd into a forming container. Fold the cheesecloth on the top, and gentle press the cheesecloth to eliminate excessive water. The more press the firmer tofu will be. |
| 4. |
4. Place the container
in refrigerator for 15 minutes to make your tofu firmer
if you wish. Now your tofu is ready to serve or use for
cooking. |
